You are warmly invited to a day conference hosted by the Arts Chaplaincy in Scotland to celebrate the Quartercentenary of the publication of the King James Bible in 1611 on Saturday 14th May 2011 in Lecture Room 1 of New College, Mound Place, the University of Edinburgh, EH1 2LX.

The programme begins at 10.30 and will conclude around 3.30pm. 

Speakers will include:
The Revd Professor David Jasper, "Preaching the Bible".
The Revd Canon Dr Michael Fuller, "Singing the Bible". 
 The Revd Dr Donald Orr, "Illustrating the Bible".
 
Lunch will be provided in the Rainy Hall and any contributions towards costs on the day would be welcome. There are only a limited number of places remaining so please register quickly through the Revd Dr Donald Orr (revdonaldorr@googlemail.com) or on 0141 881 1372.
This conference is being co-sponsored by CTPI and is also the first day of a major art exhibition that CTPI will be hosting in the Martin Hall, at New College (on the Mound), EH1 2LX. The day conference will include a special guided tour of the exhibition, which also includes the chance to see one of Scotland's rare first editions of the KJV.
(Please note that the location of this day conference has moved from SEC at Grosvenor Square to New College to allow delegates to see the exhibition in the Martin Hall.)
